5th Sunday In Lent 2021
Good morning dear Friends,
A happy and welcome Spring!
We continue with our Lenten Journey as Jesus triumphal entry into Jerusalem is only a week away! Jesus descends from the Mount of Olives towards Jerusalem, and the crowds lay their clothes on the ground to welcome him as he triumphantly enters Jerusalem. We pray you will not only be with us next week as we celebrate Palm Sunday (28 March 2021 @ 9:30 a.m.; in person or online worship participant) but you are encouraged to – Go For It! Invite a Friend to Church on Holy Week!
Holy Week, the most sacred period of our Christian faith! We will dramatize the daily events leading up to and including the suffering of Jesus on the cross. We will celebrate the empty tomb at Sunrise Service, 4 March 2021 @ 7:00 a.m.(in person or online participant), followed by A Martinelli Soulful Breakfast. Our Easter Worship Celebration, 4 March 2021 @ 9:30 a.m., (in person or online participant) will find us lifting our voices in praise of the hope that is ours and the world. Join us (inviting family or friend) for all of it, remembering that without the journey of Holy Week, Easter loses its deep meaning.
Our worship service this morning continues with the celebration of Women’s History Month. We focus on the humility, simplicity, sacrifice and tenacity of Mother Teresa, who acknowledged her passion to serve, “I’m a little pencil in the hand of a writing God, who is sending a love letter to the world.”
Join us as we gleam from her driven, totally selfless, and unswerving conviction that she was called by God to go and serve. Being Christ-centered and surrendering all to God, she unabashedly spread God’s love and hope to the entire world!
Blessings and Peace,
*If you have trouble opening or reading any of our electronic documents, please let us know. We were just informed that at times the online bulletin does not line up correctly. We hope putting it into a Word document will be more user friendly. We are available and willing to serve – please communicate your concerns.
