The Walk to Emmaus was much more than I expected. The letters and notes that you wrote were delivered to us on Sunday afternoon. All the walkers were enjoying it. I was very emotionally impacted and a THANK YOU! Any questions about the Walk to Emmaus, please feel free to reach out to me. |

I want to tell everyone what a great experience I had from April 24th to 27th at Spencer Lake Christian Camp. I participated in a three-day spiritual walk with Jesus to Emmaus. I could feel the presence of the Holy Spirit and experienced Christian growth, support, and friendship. The rest of my life will be my fourth day of my walk to Emmaus. I would highly recommend this spiritual walk with Christ; you, too, can walk with Him to Emmaus. |

I didn’t know what to expect when I went on my Walk to Emmaus. I learned that my walk was with GOD. The first morning when we went to have breakfast, looking out the windows was a beautiful Eagle. It had fish in its talons and was looking at us. He stayed there for about 10 minutes. My three days there were all about GOD and how to get closer to Him and what I could do for Him. We had chapel every morning with songs, communion, and meditation. After breakfast, we met in groups, and the leaders talked about the means of GRACE. Responding to GRACE is having faith. We all served the Grace of GOD and we accepted Him as His Disciple to serve Him. I learned that the Holy Spirit will come in and live in my life in a different way, and to reflect on what I can do to help God’s plan. We made posters reflecting the things we talked about and a short summary to go with it. Some groups did skits, and they were funny. We did a lot of praying, singing, and eating, and by nightfall, we were very tired. When the Walk to Emmaus was over, this was called our fourth day. The fourth day is the rest of your life. How will I spend it? How can I make it count for God? Ask, pray, look, be silent, and listen for God’s plan for me. God is watching and waiting for us. Jesus is walking with us, and the Holy Spirit lives with us. We are God’s hands and feet, and that is what I learned. I wish I could do this all over again. |
