The Book of James, Bible Study

What is God trying to teach us through the inspiring writings of Jesus’ brother James?  Come, bring a friend to study the Book of James, Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to noon.  The study will run from Jan. 2nd through Feb. 13th.  We will meet in the lounge.  Please bring your Bible.  We will make note of the different translations and how we understand the different interpretations of the Word of God.  We have Bibles to use at the church if you forget yours.  There is a sign-up sheet in the Narthex on the bulletin board.  Look forward to seeing you there.

Peace My Friends,

Rev. Amy Anderson

WINTER COAT DRIVE – Despensa De La Paz Food Pantry

November Coat Drive Month!

We will be collecting gently-used or new winter coats and jackets to be distributed at Despensa De La Paz Food Pantry.   All sizes – Men’s & Women’s – needed.  Collection bins will be at North & South entrances of the church.   Warm gloves & mittens also welcome.

Coats will be distributed in December to individuals and families served by Despensa De La Paz Food Pantry.   Despensa De La Paz distributes food and clothing to those in need in Milwaukee.  In their neighborhood, a family of four lives on only $14,000 a year.    This is $10,000 below the poverty level of $24,000 for a family of four.

Put your Faith into Action to bring Hope to those who struggle daily with poverty.

Let us work together to be the change we want to see in our communities.

Any questions, contact Linda Smeaton.
