I hope this mail finds you well in the season where the August sunlight softens and warms everything it touches before the season changes.
This week we will think about “Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sinned against us.” The second part of the phrase—“as we forgive those who sin against us”—challenges us to think deeply about forgiveness. However, forgiveness is not a transaction or a condition for God’s love; it is the natural reflection of having received it. We will unpack this scripture together. Let us be amazed by God's overwhelming love.
