Dear friends and family of Fifth Avenue UMC,
Christmas is just around the corner, next week. I understand that you’re likely busy with family gatherings, preparations, and other seasonal celebrations. However, for some of us, this season can be particularly challenging due to the loss of loved ones and the difficult times they’re going through. Let’s keep them in our hearts with prayers, as well.
Our church is also ready to welcome guests during this festive season. Jenny Korbar, Mary Barnett and many others have worked tirelessly to create a beautiful display of lights, Jerusalem walls, and houses. Thank you, ladies! If you encounter a new face, please be welcoming to the community while not overwhelming them. Our current cultural report suggests that people are seeking a warm and friendly faith community. And also, don’t forget to invite your friends and family to the traditional Christmas Eve Service at 4 pm and 7 pm.
