Dear brothers and sisters in the Lord!
While you follow Jesus through this Holy Week, may God bless you with heavenly blessings that your understanding of Jesus' suffering and your discipleship deepen in a way that never happened before. I encourage you to fast on the Good Friday, or reduce the food by a certain amount, or spend some time for a special meditation in the Lounge and the sanctuary.
Without suffering and death, there is no resurrection. Suffering holds beautiful promise of God that we cannot even imagine. And Jesus proclaimed “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” There is nothing to be afraid of in our life and in the world. If you are going through the challenging situation, cling to the Lord even more. There is always protection and victory, and resurrection follows! Follow Jesus' every step this week.
