Dear friends and family of FAUMC,
The Lenten Season is around the corner. This week we will distribute our Lenten Devotional Booklet. We Christians are called to love God, love our neighbors, and be Stewards of the Earth (our home), created by the infinite wisdom of God. In this Lenten season, we will try to love our Earth and environment through practices suggested in this booklet. We didn’t have a lot of time to talk about this issue, so I want to encourage you to think about our ecology and meditate scripture related to the devotion. If you are shut-ins, please let the office know, we will mail you a booklet.
This Sunday, we will prepare for our Lenten Small Group Study. The readings are short, and you will find a prayer partner. This book is an experiment of prayer life and the deep meaning of Christianity. I encourage you to invite your friends who do not know about God or Christianity. If your friends come, the church space might be a little burden to their hearts, I will change the space to my home. Please let me know. If you want to review the book, then come to the church office, and look it over. It is such an excellent book. I hope you don’t lose the opportunity to explore prayer and God. The schedule will be inserted into the Bulletin.
