Dear friends and family of Fifth Avenue UMC,
For our welcoming church culture, I want to encourage you to greet people who come to our church for the first time. I praise God for the recent new visitors and families in our church! What should we do when we meet them for the first time? Let’s make it a habit the following attitude… If you find a new person inside of ten feet, walk toward them, and introduce yourself to them, “Hi, my name is Hae-Jeong! Welcome to our church! Are you living close by?” It will make them very comfortable. And share some simple conversation with them. Do not hesitate to welcome people! It will make a great difference in creating a welcoming culture in our church. If there are people who are different from you, then please welcome them even more! God wants everyone in the world to be loved by his great heart through you. Thank you, friends!
