Dear Brothers and Sisters in the Lord,

Last week, we began our new series, "All My Days," and distributed prayer bracelets. If you did not receive one, please let me or Aimee know. We will also provide information on how to use them.
This week, we will begin exploring the prayer that our Lord taught His disciples. I will focus on the first word, "Abba" (the Aramaic word for Father, or "Daddy"). This single word carries one of the most radical aspects of the prayer.

In the ancient world, God was often viewed strictly as a distant, terrifying deity or an abstract cosmic force. However, Jesus invites His followers into a staggering level of family intimacy. By teaching us to say "Abba," He reminds us that faith is inherently communal—a delightfully loving relationship with God and a true belonging within His family.

This summer, let's continue to unpack the Lord's Prayer together.

Grace and Joy!

Pastor Hae-Jeong
