Hi friends,
Yesterday, we launched our Fifth Avenue Neighborhood Table (FANT). We bought the colorful balloons and strategically placed them in various locations. However, the strong wind caused the balloons to lie down on the ground.
Our team worked diligently to prepare a beautiful dinner table. Each volunteer fulfilled their responsibilities. The warm and welcoming atmosphere was further enhanced by the extra food and insulation bags with the mark of Fifth Avenue United Methodist Church provided to the attendees. At the table, table friends welcomed them and the conversations were filled with warmth and gentleness. There was obvious divine presence enveloping the entire space, creating a truly beautiful ambiance. God’s blessings were evident as we gathered around the tables, marking the beginning of a promising initiative.
This Sunday marks the third Stewardship Sunday, and our Finance Chair will deliver the sermon this week.
