Dear family and friends of Fifth Avenue UMC,
I hope this email finds you well.
Yesterday, we had the greatest attendance at our Fifth Avenue Neighborhood Table event since starting it in May. I believe this ministry was a timely one. People brought their neighbors, and friends. Every table was filled with good conversation and a loving presence of God. The food was well prepared, balanced, and good. I was able to deliver a short 5-minute message. May God use this ministry for His glory!
The next Neighborhood Table is Wednesday, November 19th (one week prior to Thanksgiving Day). Our chef is preparing a delicious “Pre-Thanksgiving Feast” to share with the community. Please mark your calendar. We look forward to seeing you as we gather to partake in a special seasonal meal, fill the table with good thanksgiving stories and hearts of gratitude of the year!
This week's theme is about Peace. We will think together about Peace with God, Peace inside, and peace with each other. Peace is a precious gift from the Lord. Are you enjoying peace from God day-by-day, moment-by-moment? God has given it to you as a gift!
