Dinner Church was started by Fresh Expressions and has become a vehicle to mesh the existing church culture with newly inspired ways of reaching those who don’t go to church. Hence, saving declining mainline churches. There are two workshop dates, with different information being shared at each session. The first session is this Sunday, and the second session is Sunday, November 17th.
There are different areas of volunteer work. If you love to meet and welcome people, then join as volunteers at the dinner time at the table for one hour. The instructor will teach you a way of meaningful conversation with those whom you meet for the first time. If you’d like to stand at the door and welcome people, please help for one hour or two. There are lots of different volunteer slots you can serve. It will be a great learning opportunity about Jesus and the first church of disciples. -
