Has God ever ministered to you in your sleep? I had a dream that I was preaching somewhere about hope. I was encouraging people in my preaching. I said to them that hope comes into your spirit and sinks to the bottom where it lies low. In times of great discouragement or struggle, when you get that sinking feeling in your gut that tends to make you feel sick, God comes in and begins to stir up your spirit. As God continues to stir up your spirit, hope, that has been sitting in there all along, begins to come alive and finally, Hope Floats.
When I woke up, I realized that God was telling me to have hope.
Let us not give up hope, whatever the circumstance. If we have entrusted the matter to God, then our hope is in God and God is well able to do abundantly above that which we can ever hope or imagine. Let us anticipate God doing it for us with pleasure, expectation, and confidence. Our God is able and yes, God will do it.
“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love…” 1 Corinthians 13:13
