Dear Family and Friends of FAUMC,
Last Sunday, was our “Rally Sunday” Special Event with a Ministry Celebration, Potluck, grilled Hamburgers and Hot Dogs. It was wonderful to have fellowship over food. The weather was cold in the morning, but around Noon it was okay to be outside.
During the staff meeting this past Tuesday, I suggested to make it a regular occurrence and we all agreed to have a Potluck once every quarter. Our next Potluck will be Sunday, December 14th!
We also have another opportunity to gather together around the table on Wednesday, September 17th. Our next “Neighborhood Table” will be a wonderful chance to have dinner together, not only inside with our church family, but also with community people. We can share our lives, offer support to each other with love and care. Please join us and be a table friend by welcoming community people.
This week marks the second week of our worship series titled “Beguiled by Beauty.” The central theme of this week’s sermon revolves around the profound love of God. It’s an astonishing truth that, even before you become aware of God, God’s love for you has always existed and continues. This revelation may come as a surprise to some of you.
Becoming truly beloved means living a victorious life in the face of life’s challenges. How comforting and soothing it is to know the never changing love of our Father in Heaven!
